Is the fairgrounds and its facilities available for rental?
Absolutely. The fairgrounds and its facilities are available for rent throughout the year for exhibits, concerts, receptions, auctions, and more. Rates may vary based upon seasonal availability and space requirements. If you are interested in renting the fairgrounds or any of its facilities, or simply want more information call 513.892.1423 or email.
Can I lease space in any of the facilities for winter storage?
Yes. Storage facilities for RVs, motorcycles, cars, boats, and other watercraft are available during the months of November – April. Rates are determined by square footage. All stored vehicles and watercraft must be removed from storage by May 1st. For more information on storage rates and facilities call 513.892.1423 or email.
The Fair
What are fair hours?
Sunday, July 25th: 12pm – 11pm
Monday, July 26th – Saturday, July 31st: 8am – 11pm
What time do rides open?
Rides will open Sunday, July 25th at 4pm following inspection. Then daily at 1pm for the remainder of the fair.
How do I rent a commercial space during the week of the fair?
Commercial fair spaces for the 2010 fair may be reserved through the Fair Secretary’s Office. Vendors who participated in the 2009 fair must reserve their commercial space for the 2010 fair by May 1st, 2010 or their space may be lost. After May 1st, 2010 unreserved commercial spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rates for commercial spaces vary and are determined by square footage. How do I rent a camper space for the week of fair?
Livestock Area – New camper applicants for the Livestock Area may reserve a camper space by turning in a 2010 Application for Camper Permit and payment to the Fair Secretary’s Office by 3pm on June 22th, 2010. Returning 2009 campers must also turn in an application and fee by 3pm on June 22th, 2010.

Horse Area – Camper spaces for the Horse Area will be sold at the Horse Advisor’s Meeting at the Blue Building on Monday, June 21st.
Returning campers will be given first consideration but are not guaranteed a space or the same space as the previous year. Camper placement will be based upon camper size, space availability, and the date the application was received. The camping fee for the week of fair is $175. To verify if you have been awarded a space please contact the fair office at 513.892.1423.
How do I reserve a Preferred Parking space for the week of fair?
Area 1 & 2 (Livestock) – The cost of a Preferred Parking space for the week of fair is $25. Spaces will be issued on a first come first serve basis; a limited number of spaces are available. You may reserve the same space you had in 2009 in areas 1 & 2 up until 3pm on July 1, 2010. Completed application must accompany fee. Only two(2) spaces may be purchased per applicant. Only one(1) application per individual/household allowed. Preferred Parking privilege pass can be picked up at Fair Office beginning Wednesday, July 21 during normal offices hours.

Area 3, 4, & 5 (Horse) – The cost of a Preferred Parking space for the week of fair is $25. The June 21 horse advisors meeting will be held at the Butler County Fairgrounds in the Blue Building. The fair office will open at 430pm prior to the meeting to accept parking registrations. The office will remain open until the end of the meeting. Any spaces left after this meeting will be sold through the fair office. Completed application must accompany fee. Only two(2) spaces may be purchased per applicant. Only one(1) application per individual/household allowed. Preferred Parking privilege pass can be picked up at Fair Office

How do I sponsor a custom bench at the fairgrounds?
Download the form below and complete all required information as you would like it to appear on the bench. Mail the completed form to the Butler County Fair along with the appropriate form of payment. The cost is $185 per bench.
